Then press the espresso key a further time and return the valve knob to the position. Press the espresso key and allow the remainder of the descaling solution to run through. Following this, press the espresso key and allow 2 water containerfuls of clear water to run through. Turn the valve knob to the position, press the espresso key and allow the water run through. Insert the brewing sieve into the brewing head again and push the frothing aid onto the steam/hot water nozzle. Removal of limescale The machine must have limescale removed regularly. For an average usage of 4 cups daily and hard water, we recommend descaling the appliance every 3 months.
